Why do you recommend permanent lights?
You pay once. Seasonal lights mean an install bill and a takedown bill every year. On a 100 ft front, seasonal runs about $398 a year after the first season, so a $2,030 Govee system pays for itself in about 5 seasons. After that the lights are free, and you get every color for Halloween, game days and the Fourth of July too.
How is seasonal pricing worked out?
C9 bulbs go about one per foot. Per 100 bulbs, install is $265 and takedown is $133. In your first season you also pay for the lights ($30 per 100 bulbs) and clips ($10 per 100), and they're yours to keep. The smallest job we take is $300 total.
Why are install and takedown listed separately?
So you can see exactly what each visit costs. Both are paid when you book, so there's no surprise bill in January. After the holidays you just pick your takedown date.
Do returning customers pay less?
Yes. You own your strands and clips and keep them at your place between seasons, so a returning season is install and takedown only.
Which permanent system should I pick?
All four are app-controlled and run any color or pattern. Govee Pro ($20.30/ft installed) mounts small light pucks under the eave and is our most popular. The Govee Outdoor Strip ($19.50/ft) is one continuous line of light, for people who'd rather not see separate pucks. Govee Pro + SnapTrack ($25.00/ft) sets the Govee lights in an aluminum channel matched to your trim, which hides the wiring. SnapTrack Pro ($26.85/ft) uses commercial-grade lights inside a track matched to your fascia, so in the daytime you don't see lights or wires.
How does the deposit work?
Pick your date online and pay a deposit to hold it. For permanent lights the deposit covers the cost of your lights (from $500), so we can order them the day you book. For seasonal it's $150. After we confirm your footage, the rest of your 50% deposit is invoiced, and the balance is due when the lights are up and working. Returning clients book without a deposit and pay when their lights are up.
